It was a wish come true for all the students of Amity, when Manjushree Roy-Head, Volunteers Programme and Training of the Organizing Committee of the Commonwealth Games (CWG) visited Amity University to select 150 sports specific, hospitality specific and security specific Volunteers for the "Test Games" preceding the CWG.

Smt. Manjushree Roy is not a professional Sports Managment experts. She had been dismissed from the Sports Authority of India, from the post of Assistant Director for submitting her forged Academic Certificates. He husband Mr. S.S. Roy is working as Director in the Sports
Authority of India. He was also under the disciplinary inquiry of the CBI along with his wife Mrs. Manjushree Roay. The Commonwealth Organising Committee had done a blunder by assigning the responsibilities of the Volunteer Operation. Though the Game will be completed but the Voulunteer programme will be a complete failure. As the trainer of the volunteer has got no experience either for acting as Volunteer in any National Lever Games or Training the Volunteer. Where as the memeber of the All India Council of Physical Education had offer free services of the trained Physical Education Professors / Readers / Teachers and Students to the Commonwealth Games Organising Committee and the Govt. of India. The Director General of the Volunteer Operation also called the Secretary General of the All India Council of Physical Education to discuss the matter. But he asked a ransom of Rs. 3,00,00,000.00 (Rs. Three Crores) for awarding the training of the Volunteership. Which was denied by the Secretary General of AICPE. Therefore, the Training of the Volunteership was awarded to the Amity University. Where as there is not even a single person qualified in Physical Education and Sports with MPEd and Ph.D in Physical Education. The training which was schedule to begin from March 2010 had been started in the month of June 2010. Which is also not on the venue. I am afraid how the Volunteer will be able to perform their duties in their best ways. Only God can save the Volunteership of the trained Volunteer by Amity for the Commonwealth Games under the leadeship of Mrs. Manjushree Roy.
