The Organising Committee Commonwealth Games 2010 Delhi, today announced Coca-Cola India as the official beverage for the XIX Commonwealth Games 2010 Delhi. Coca-Cola India, the country’s largest soft drink seller signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to sponsor Delhi Commonwealth Games.
Coca–Cola India’s product will exclusively be sold to spectators at all venues, and served to all the athletes, team officials, volunteers etc. during the XIX Commonwealth games 2010 Delhi. The exclusive association with Coca–Cola India encompasses products in the carbonated soft drink, water, juice and juice drink categories helping Coca-Cola India connect and engage with its customers, dealers and employees in one of the most memorable ways.
Organising Committee Chairman Mr. Suresh Kalmadi said on the occasion, "We are delighted to have Coca-Cola India as the official beverage for the Commonwealth Games 2010. Coca–Cola has a strong legacy of supporting Olympic sports and need no special introduction. Today is an important day for all of us as we are just 200 days away from the Commonwealth Games 2010 Delhi. We are confident about delivering a Games that India will be proud of. Coca–Cola India’s coming on board with the XIX Commonwealth Games 2010 Delhi is thus a logical move and the tie-up will benefit all stakeholders."
