Commonwealth Games Scotland (CGS) and Scottish Squash have named the 6 players (four men and two women) who will represent Team Scotland in the singles, doubles and mixed doubles events at the games in Delhi.
Two of the players named, Harry Leitch and Frania Gillen-Buchert, were in the 2006 Scottish team in Melbourne.
"Scottish squash players have a long tradition of success in the sport and this team has demonstrated that they have the ingredients to take on the best squash playing nations in the world," said Scottish Squash head coach Roger Flynn. "We are particularly targeting the doubles competitions, where we believe we have the best chance of medalling."
The competition will be held at the Siri Fort Sports Complex from 4-13 October.
Team Scotland: Alan Clyne, 24 (singles, men's doubles, mixed doubles). Harry Leitch, 25 (singles, men's doubles, mixed doubles). Lyall Paterson, 21 (singles, men's doubles).
